Amazon is Big Brother (or another reason to not use Windows)
Published 6 years, 2 months ago in macintosh, windowsAmazon is Big Brother, posted over on the Amazon Weblog shows us all one more reason to not use Windows. The fact that they’re installing Alexa things by default (which was under serious attack by privacy organizations since they launched) without telling anyone anything is typical of the Windows mentality. Netscape 4.x embedded Alexa stuff also, but they at least told you what it did, and how, before you downloaded the software. Not so with IE 6 SP 1. Beware the Redmond Machine.
